ABOUT ATALANTA

Atalanta is a character from Greek Mythology.

Born to parents who wanted a son, as an infant Atalanta was left to die alone on a mountain top. But through the intervention of the goddess Artemis, a band of hunters found Atalanta, cared for her, and raised her as one of their own.

Atalanta became known as a fierce huntress and unbeatable runner. She blazed trails as the only woman present at the Calydonian Boar Hunt and the only female Argonaut. From nothing Atalanta became a hero.

Kerry learned about Atalanta's story after running her first half marathon and found it so inspiring that she knew she would one day name her own firm after Atalanta.
